Nicely done Barrie - particularly like the 6th shot (get up and go).
I agree b+w does suite these. That said - I might post a few in colour as a contrast

Some nice stuff there, Barrie. My favourite is probably Williams Grimshaw's Formula Junior Moorland {car 29), because an open-face helmet complements the mono and I love the vivid expression. I'll post some eventually...

Is the driver of the first one a bit overweight or is the car supposed to be bent in the middle?!

I had a sneaking suspicion we may be seeing 'Miss 60s' - you must have enough shots of her for a portfolio 
I must have been looking the other way when you caught that fine 1st shot though. Is it just me or does she have a passing resemblance to Penelope Keith?

Barrie, those portraits are terrific. I looked round for willing victims, but kept bumping into racing drivers who wanted to talk about anti-dive suspension geometry and suchlike. You win...

Great stuff Barrie but I must admit the portraits, particularly the Penelope Keith look-a-like, have the edge on the cars for me.

Simon, You should hang round the Burger van. Despite their sylph like figures, burger and chips seemed to be the order of the day.

Nice set Barrie, of the cars the first is my favourite but like the others have mentioned the portraits are great.
