Has anyone got any "real life" sample shots using this lens they can point me to please, also any used with TC and this lens - thanks

I have the 50-500. It's OK. With a TC it is not OK. The 70-200 f/2.8 is much better due to the faster aperture.

I would not expect the 120-400 to be acceptable with a TC.

I could be surprised?

I second K10D. I would bet that a crop from the 129-400 on it's own would be better than a picture with the TC.

This is the 150-500 with a 1.4 on a tripod I think.

Better than I expected, but on the real world the AF locked on maybe 1 in 4 attempts and if hand holding or a moving subject, then no chance.

This is a link to some shots that I took using the 120-400mm Sigma HSM lens.

It does work with the Tamron x1.4 Pz-AF MC4 Teleconverter as well.

Sorry, I should have specified that I too was using the 1.4 Pz-Af.
