Yeah I sometimes look in on Camerapricebuster but obvoiusly not enough eh?
I wasn't using Pentax then so thats par for the course but a little galling as I try to save up six big ones!

Yep, lens prices bounce around like something demented.

I got my 55-300 PLM last December for £249 from Amazon (some on here told me I was wrong) Bargain!

I had a used 300mm F4 star a year or so back for £599. Two weeks later brand new ones were £624 or thereabouts. Duh!

I bought the 18 135 WR for £399, a month later a friend got one for £299 Duh!

I got my (excellent) k3 II recently for £699 thanks to SRS honouring a trade in offer they'd made me before the increase to £849 hooray!

I'm waiting on next time the 20 - 40 Ltd is on serious offer and hope it coincides with my having spare dosh! No doubt Black Friday and no doubt dearer than last time round. Sub £500 would be nice though.

The used market of course tries to follow suit thanks to ebay listings.

I'd like to buy at reasonable prices when i want gear and can afford it on a limited budget as an amateur, not when sellers see fit. Silly game isn't it?
