Super composition Roy - I have one of these and honestly I'm at a compete loss how to get the best out of it because I find the bendy straights too annoying.

Yeah, though you still get convergence on straights though even if it's level in both the x and z axis... it's hell with things like pillars - hence I got the aspherical sigma 10-20. I'm sure I'm just being incompetent and not using it on subjects suitable for it - round curvey subjects like this

I too like Stefan's pp'ing. Wonderful viewpoint Roy - where abouts was it?? I fancy going to that area sometime and would like to include your viewpoint.

Symonds Yat Rock in the Wye valley nr monmouth and the Royal forest of dean.There are nesting peregrine falcons here too.Symonds yat east for the viewpoint symonds yat west for leisure park and butterfly house.For you m5 -m50-a40 i believe

Many thanks Roy. Even without a fisheye lens I imagine that rock and the area in general are great places for photography. I'll get there sometime soon.
