Big up to Kenro Ltd in Swindon who I believe are the main stockists of Benro tripods in the UK. Sent me out a full set of anti lock rotation sleeves for my 2+ year old travel angel free of charge. A few of them had become stuck making it virtually unusable. I would have gladly paid a fair price for replacements but it never came up in the discussion.

Hmmmm that's suspicious, they have customer testamonials going back much further.

My impression is that this is an alter ego of 'Kerso', the ebay seller who seems to have established a good reputation over several years on many photographic forums (specially Canon oriented ones). 'Kerso' has been the subject of occasional comment on this forum over the years- I bought a DA15Ltd at an excellent price from him some years ago without any problems at all.
However I cannot vouch for any of that, and it is a case of CAVEAT EMPTOR, as ever

I took delivery of my FA 77 Ltd yesterday from Flash Camera.
Paid 619 inc postage and it arrived next day from Scotland. Excellent price and service. Will definitely deal with them again. Worth a look!

I've only read good things about Kerso / Flash Camera.

The only possible downside I can see is that his items are grey imports, so I've always presumed they'd have to go back to their country of distribution in the event they needed warranty attention.

I don't know if this thread is supposed to cover repairers. But can I recommend A.M. Technical Services in Middlesex link Just had an old Adaptall lens done by them. Fast turn round and, I think, a reasonable cost.

Seconded. Alan Marlow offers very good service at reasonable prices. A proper old-school technician.

Duncan, Kenro is nothing to do with me. I run a business called flashcamera and am known as kerso on Ebay which is the name I am known as on most of the photography forums. Regards Ian (kerso)

Following on from my FA 77 purchase, this week Ian sold me a FA 31 Ltd.
