For sale is one of the rarest Takumar lenses. One of approximately 129 produced briefly in 1957, and only ever used for magazine photos and advertisements never officially sold to the public. It is a Takumar 100mm F3.5 in M42 mount. Not to be confused with the chrome M37 variant which was put into production. Condition is excellent, the body shows no signs of use. The glass is in excellent condition, with no damage whatsoever. Comes with the original lens caps and leather case. Its a hard item to value, so I am open to serious offers. Examples of this lens in much worse condition have sold for $700usd back in 2010, but that;s about the only example i've ever found come up for sale.

Located in Canada, willing to ship worldwide at buyers expense.

A page taken from “The Ultimate Asahi Pentax Screwmount Lens Guide” has a little info on this lens.

thanks for trying to tempt me Dan - but I've never delved too far into M42 lenses, and I'm saving up for the DFA*85/1.4 anyway - hopefully next year
