I'm not a railway buff but I'm going to try and get some shots of A4 Pacific, Union of South Africa this Sunday as she is doing two laps of the Fife Circle.

I was wondering if any of the resident railway buffs are heading up this way to chase Number 9?
Cheers
Brian.

I probably would but I'm engaged elsewhere on Sunday (an RPS meeting on Tyneside). I've already got some good shots of No.9 in action on the Settle and Carlisle and East Coast Main Lines
Next week we're on holiday in the Severn Valley so on Monday afternoon I plan to photograph two class 5s double heading the GBV1 tour at Craven Arms in Shropshire.
The same train goes via Chester John. Not far from you. and Cliff

To far away for me, but will probably go to the Great Central at Loughborough, where ex GWR No.6023 'King Edward II' will be having a run-out (disguised as No.6015 Richard III).

I was looking at that but I'm in work that day and there's no light by the time it reaches Frodsham or Warrington unfortunately.
