I would like to express my shock and condolences to the sudden death of Tim Hetherington whom I had the honour to meet not even two years ago in the local RBL Club.

He was a photographer of outstanding character and had values that made him stand out above the rest FOR ME.

It is a sad loss to the world of photography and I sincerely believe he will be truly missed.
Kind regards

Yes I saw that on BBC World last night. At least it was quick, considering some of the places he''s been it could have been much worse. Sad loss. RIP.

Although I do not know his legacy, I am sure he will be missed from the society.
