Quick Test of new purchases (S-M-C Tak 120mm + Pentax-F 35-70mm) - photo heavy

Nothing too fancy, just some test shots with a couple of new toys (didn't take long until the motivation to buy lenses returned!). All but the last two are with 120mm. If there's a theme, I'd say it's loosely autumnal.

Very lovely. The 120/2.8 has always piqued my interest, and you’ve showcased it excellently here.

Well, you expect excellence from that one. The doggie ones are lovely!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thanks! I know there are more lengths to fill out a collection (which I may end up doing in due time…) but the combination of the 50/85/120 Taks works well as a portable set to me.

I think the 35-70 is also a nice extension to my mainstay 16-45. Again, it‘s so compact I barely notice it in a coat pocket. I don‘t love some general aspects of the Pentax-F range design but in this case it works for what it is - a very compact 35-70 with decent image quality and Pentax character.
