I've not been lurking around Pentax fora much lately. I noticed, however, that SRS has no Q bodies or lenses listed. Has the Q been discontinued? Did I miss the news?

I think they switched all Q production over to making 'Green Metal Hot-Shoe Covers' for the GRii

I spoke to SRS late 2015 and they confirmed Pentax had stopped making the Qs.

I think there's a thread on here about it.

Digital: Pentax K-1 II + Grip, Pentax K3II + Grip, Pentax MX-1.
Lenses: Pentax D-FA 24-70mm 2.8, D-FA 15-30 2.8, D-FA 70-200 2.8*, Pentax 35mm 2.4, 50mm 1.8, 18-135mm WR, 55-300mm HD, Sigma 70-300mm (macro), Tamron 17-50mm F2.8.
Film: Mamiya C330 Medium Format, Pentax Super ME.

It does seem a shame given how much development must have gone into the cameras and the selection of lenses.

Still, it's a useful camera and it doesn't stop us enjoying it. I use mine wherever a DSLR would be frowned upon. A Q-S1 doesn't even raise an eyebrow.

I've still got the original (white) Q and would never get rid of it.
I love the build quality and neat design, it produces amazing photos for such a small sensor! particularly with the 01 and 06 lenses.
It's a classic
