I spoke to SRS late 2015 and they confirmed Pentax had stopped making the Qs.

It does seem a shame given how much development must have gone into the cameras and the selection of lenses.

Still, it's a useful camera and it doesn't stop us enjoying it. I use mine wherever a DSLR would be frowned upon. A Q-S1 doesn't even raise an eyebrow.

I've still got the original (white) Q and would never get rid of it.
I love the build quality and neat design, it produces amazing photos for such a small sensor! particularly with the 01 and 06 lenses.
