Portraits of my brother

I took these shots of my younger brother last weekend. He's pretty good in front of the camera (no lack of confidence on stage with his band either)! I have no experience of portrait photography and shot these with the DA 17-70 handheld without flash. The lighting in my parent's conservatory was quite nice. I pushed the contrast quite a lot after the B&W conversion and applied additional sharpening to the eyes.
