I haven't seen any other versions, but I see halo's instantly in this image. Which is a bit sad, as it's drawing my attention away from the stunning scene.
To me, it would look a bit better with these adjusted out. Quick rough example.

There is so much to like in this. Well done, it's really got me thinking now.

Thanks Richard, I wish I knew how. If I am honest the file on my pc even after converting to the correct file size and jpg doesn't show the halo but as soon as I upload its there. Maybe I am failing to do something but it was a small improvement on the original. Think I need to look deeper into this but your time is very appreciated.

Sorry, I haven't seen your original post. Assume there's a bit of HDR going on somewhere?
Or perhaps some sharpening, which can lead to this also.
Perhaps process for the rocks, and then merge that with and original sky, so the Sky doesn't halo up on you?
Again though, I really want to say that this image is spectacular, and we're just discussing a tiny part of it here

Nicely done Rich.
Tony it's still a fabulous image, as is the other one in the gallery
Your pp skills will improve with practice, I use YouTube tutorials at times when I'm stuck.
I wouldnt worry too much about it.
As you can see from Richard above there's plenty of helpful folks on here that are willing to help out.
You already have the eye for it, keep up the good work.
Looking forward to seeing more.
