Pink Lady Slipper

Almost back to the parking lot on a local trail, when I spotted a few of these Pink Lady Slippers. I acquired more mosquito bites than photos! Perhaps this weekend I will go back, armed with long pants and plenty of DEET.

In the meantime, your comments and suggestions welcome, so I have more creative ideas for attempt number 2.

These were both taken with the M 50 1.4, handheld, pretty much wide open.

Taken with my all-time favorite lens.

The power of bokeh! Makes the subject leap off the page. Usually takes a long lens to get that effect.

Well done!
