I just received a manual lens off of fellow member geordie

Its fab!!!

I cant believe how SHARP this lens is for the price! I am so going to buy more manual lenses

This was at F1.7 in a fairly dark room at 1600 ISO...

It's good aye!

The image quality from the primes is excellent, especially from a bang for your buck angle.

And they're full frame compatible too

they are fantastic i've got the 50mm f1.4 if you are looking for some more i recommend the m 75-150 f4 it will be the best 20 qid you will ever spend on a lens! enjoy

I started buying mf lenses to test out certain focal lengths cheaply then I found out how well they work and kept them
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Aha!

So you finally discover for yourself why Pentax Users have put up for years with slow focus, limited range of lenses, and all the other tripe that reviewers churn out.

Certainly shows the lovely quality of the lens - nice colour and smooth oof area. However, although it's not easy to see on a computer screen, it looks like the focus is on the nose, with the eyes just slightly off-focus. The eyes need to be sharp.
