attached to this blog. The photo viewing the top gives you a really good idea about the functions. Unfortunately the lcd seems a bit flimsy looking, the 2 iso functions selects seems a waste of space and the third know on the top right seems odd. Negativity to the side the camera looks quite appealing. Happy to say that we have built in wifi, gps, SR in body and crop mode for apsc lenses

'Negativity' to the side of the camera ? Now come on, who's ever heard of any negativity attached to any Pentax camera release ! Connectivity negativity ?

Pleased to see plenty of proper pro style direct controls. Now we can all look much more the business'.

Looks very promising. What do we make of the comment on that link after the photos regarding that the camera was not supposed to be displayed and that Ricoh Japan ordered the headquaters in USA to remove it from display?

It's Black People will confuse it with an APS-C model

I heard a rumour that Pentax had listened to the moans that people never see any Pentax cameras on the street and they were going to make the FF White with Red Polkadots so other Pentax users would see it!

It was probably an 'accidental' release to gauge reaction from potential customers before they start cutting
metal in earnest. Ricoh have a lot riding on this model...they can't afford for it to flop.

Just noticed, the clips for the strap are misaligned. Why?

"Realistic"? Hardly. It'll no doubt make you eyes water.

Early adopters and those not easily given to deferred gratification, always find the money, Stu; the more patient and/or less well-heeled, wait a year or so and save a bob.
Best wishes,

Andrew
