After a little break from filming my landscape photography I'm back with a short video from the top of Titterstone Clee Hill in Shropshire
Out with the Pentax K1 and the Samyang 24 mm F1.4 and the Pentax Smc - DA 35 mm F2.4 AL capturing Sunset, Blue Hour and a spot of Astrophotography. I hope you enjoy the video and the images produced. Video: https://youtu.be/2yu3F1xP9_E

Where to start? One of the best images I've seen in a long time. Nice one.

Thank you thats very kind of you to say. I hope you enjoyed the other images in the linked video, I'm rather pleased with the final image or in fact the astro set as I didnt have much confidence I had managed to capture the scene and the night sky until I got home and checked out the images on the computer.

Hi Geoff,

Nice work! I know that Hill very well.

In my working life I spent many hours/days working at the smaller radar which is not a NATS radar but a weather radar run by the Met Office. It replaced an older radar we had there which has been removed.

On a good day you can see Snowdon from the top!

Cheers
Mike

Forgot to say, thought the video was first rate. Great production values obvious there, music just right and at a volume that didn't 'interfere' with the images.

Only suggestion I would make, maybe wait a while to catch your breath before filming??? (That made me smile - 'there but for the grace of' etc.)

Thanks Mike, i did think about clarifying each of the radomes in the video, but I struggle at the best of times trying to communicate I thought better of it, and so kept it simple. Interesting that you used to work up there, when it came to reviewing my videos ! is on my Camera that I was doing the recording on, I have a lot of Air Traffic control recorded into the video. Convo between them an Military transiting the Mach loop etc I assume the external mic its wire acted like an antenna or something. But is very cool!

Thanks for the constructive feedback Urban. You are quite right of course. In my defence, I thought id nail walking and talking part, but as usual over estimated my desk life fitness levels lol

Just watched your video!

The image at the end is awe inspiring... It's also given me an idea for something near where I live if I can get access!
At the beggining there was nothing....

Which exploded....

Awe thanks Spad. If you do get out and get the access I'd love to see the results of your endeavours.
