Well I long ago gave up on ever getting my lens, but Microglobe emailed me over the weekend to say it had come into stock. I picked it up today.

Ordered 22/04. In stock 2/9. They didn't charge my card at order, so I was happy leaving the order open just in case. But they honoured the order price, so fair credit to them.

The text on the Microglobe website reads like it's been written by someone far to the east of these shores and doesn't look very professional for a company trading from a central London address.
However, if Pentax users say it's OK then it must be!

I'd forgotten all about this, but when this thread was started they went out of stock very quickly. I put my email in for a stock update, which I got today!

Price now some pennies over £343?! in case anyone else is interested. My lens fund is non-existent now!

For me it's put one of my kidneys on EBay, or wait a little longer!

Hope that works for someone!

Was it the WR version that you bought/received, or the DFA non-WR? I don't have funds at the moment (and everything that I might consider selling is going very cheaply at present!), but have wanted the WR version for ages! It appears that their prices are keen and service is good!

It was the WR version, very happy so far, no serious shots yet, but wide open the Tamron gave slight colour fringe (green) behind the point of focus, the Pentax has very slight infront (pinky/red) and behind (green) but this is only on a high contrast subject, the rest seems to be bob on, for £343 am a very camper, and no worries on dust or weather now

Thatís an amazing price for the WR macro. Personally I think itís a gorgeous lens besides being an extremely capably one.

I see that microglobe also have the FA 31 for - relatively - cheap: just under 650 pounds and in stock. 219 for the DA 40mm is good too.
