Pentax Service centers in the UK
How did you get dust on the sensor, I can understand it happening with a DSLR, but an MX-1 ?! Seems you need to keep it in a case of some sort when its not being used.
As to the dust that's got in there, if its just one bit, maybe it'll dislodge itself with a bit more use.

I have a little Pentax MX-1 which I absolutely love and it got some dust in the sensor that is not budging. I tried the vacuum in a sock trick, around the lens crevices, battery housing and flash bay which worked for most other dust except for that very dark and relatively large curly speck. The lens recently also gained an apparently at first, slight and very small scratch on the front element, which it wasn't noticeable until it became really sunny.
Now, I have sent a couple of emails to JPSS, the supposed UK service center for Pentax products, enquiring about how can I send my camera and a quote and they never came back to me. It's been 2 months now, maybe a little longer.
Anyone has any other service centers which will provide a professional service and if you have had a similar problem how much did you end up paying?
Thank you so much,
Regards,
Luis
