Pentax ME-F Infinite Winding
Hey all,
I recently purchased a second-hand Pentax ME-F that had been sitting in a cupboard for who knows how long. I did some playing around and after a couple of test shots the advance lever would just continuously wind and the shutter release wouldn't fire. Any ideas on what the problem might be and how to fix it?
I've heard this has been an issue for the ME Super model, but this has autofocus and therefore the internals have a different layout.
Happy to provide more information and photos if needed.
Cheers
I don't recall that the ME-Super was auto focus, in fact I'm sure it wasn't. However, as for your ME-F issue, if you are handy with tools and willing to learn, you could always try this:- link
Good luck.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!
They share most internal parts and construction.
Any competent technician who services the ME Super should be able to repair your ME-F.
