Robin at Harrow Technical did a good job on mine. He retired, then announced he was taking a bit of part time work. It's worth dropping him a line. The crunch point is going to come when the supply of LX seal kits dries-up. The LX has lots of dust and moisture seals which have to be replaced whenever the camera is opened-up.
Best wishes, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks Kris - I took a look at the pricing on the Website, didn't realise how expensive an LX is to fix

It's all those dust and moisture seals. Once you open one up you have to replace them all. Worth it though, I expect my LX to outlast me now.

There is a "fix" service by someone based in Manchester, and he has good feedback (Ebay) but I'm not sure I'd want to take a chance
I didn't intend to get another LX but it was shiny and beautiful
