Hi Vic - No, not for sale - I bought it knowing it has the famous "sticky mirror" problem but apart from that the body condition is superb and it is the later model - so I just couldn't resist It's going away for replacement seals and rubbers so when it returns it will be probably the nicest copy I've ever owned.

I always did like the look of the FA-2 finder, just not quite enough dioptre adjustment for my eyes.
The class glass on the front is pretty drool-worthy too.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

That's a lovely set-up.
I didn't know there were different versions - what are the differences between them?

I'm not an expert but I believe the LX had a number of improvements made to it over the course of its manufacturing period.
One of the first changes was to increase the maximum film speed rating from 1600 to 3200. Another change (which I think was one of the last) was a change to the locking mechanism for the shutter release - the later design made it clearer when it was locked/unlocked. There was also a change to the metering pattern on the inside of the shutter curtain (two of the white dots disappeared) but I don't know why or what difference this made!
I think there are several members who have far better knowledge than me of this subject.....
...Kris, where are you

As John says, there were many minor changes to things like the shutter lock. On the later model you could activate the meter by pressing the pentaprism lock button. This is because with the motordrive attached it was hard to half-press the shutter button to turn on the meter without taking a photo. Why the updated shutter curtain lost the two white dots is a bit of a mystery! One source I have seen suggests there may have been up to 300 minor changes, but the vast majority were internal and not noticeable by the user.
