Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I've just been given a pile of stuff on that basis, sadly not Pentax, but it was all destined for the tip if I didn't take it.

Both of these items look mint.

To me the only flaw with the KX (other than lacking motor drive, interchangeable screens and prisms, etc, etc,) is that the meter switch is combined with the rapid wind lever. Hardly a deal breaker

I spotted a KX body and thought it looked mint. As it had no price against it I assumed it would be expensive and left it at that and walked away. Another circle round the tables and it was still there, so time to ask how much. The gentleman selling it said $13. I thought I had not heard correctly and was about to repeat the question when he said it's less than three cups of coffee. It had the manual with it as well as the body cap.
So I bought it.
OK, one body without a lens. Now needed an M or A lens for it. I spotted an M series 28mm f/3.5 on another table. No price on it. I asked and was told $30. Offer of $25 was accepted. It had both original front & rear caps.
$38 worth of Pentax:

Put two batteries in and the metering works. Now just need to put a roll of film through it.
