Dear all

I have recently bought a Pentax K-x and I am very pleased with it.

I've started taking some pics and I would like to know which software is better for photo editing. I have installed Pentax Digital Camera Utility and I have also played a bit with PhotoScape. Are those good enough in most cases or should I start learning something more complex like GIMP?

Do you have any recommendantion for beginners?

Is there any beginner like me interested in shooting in London?

Many thanks.

I only recently bought my first dslr (K20D)and have yet to post process anything - but when I do I will probably go for gimp - its free and is a good as photoshop, so seems worth learning.
Im on the outskirts of London and am happy to go shooting in London, once I have figured out all the options on my camera!
Pentax K20D is mine
