BIC Camera in Japan announced K-30 to go on sale on 29 June 2012.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I kinda like the orange colour

Oh man, the Japanese are crazyyyyy. The orange K30 looks really hot.
But I think, I'd stick to a white one.
Coz too colourful... looks unprofessional in my opinion.

Bright colours are mainly for the Japanese market as they love their coloured cameras.

I like the choice of matt or glossy 'sports car' finish!

They've gone for a much nicer shade of red this time, sort of dark cherry red rather than 'pillar box'.

I like the red too - very like the special 645D red.

I can't imagine them issuing a magenta version for Europe! I think you mean blue

I also like the new red, very classy. Thinking about it, I like quite a few of the colours.

We choose a colour for our car, so why not a colour for our camera?
Best regards, John
