I bought at £699 just as the price rose to £849. SRS honoured the deal as I'd agreed a trade in. I told a friend about the current deal only yesterday when checking against used prices for him.
I think the MKII of the K3 has been greatly underrated. The upgraded Shake reduction at 4.5 stops and the improved tracking (software?) have made quite a difference to continuous AF over the K3 for me especially with the 55 - 300 PLM zoom. The astrotracer is a nice toy. I've not yet had any results with the Pixel Shift resolution feature. I'm guessing the next model will initially RRP at £1500

Tempting, but think I must resist - there's life in the K5 II yet....
