Surprisingly the accessories listed are all lenses

Having pre-ordered at SRS, I'm dissapointed to notice thats it's 30 cheaper direct from Ricoh

If Chris is reading this; any chance of matching that?

That is very funny.

I wonder which is more likely - that someone at Ricoh has a sense of humour, or that the web page is automatically generated from a list of items which are mutually compatible, and a minion somewhere has assiduously updated the database, entering all the lenses compatible with the TC?

My bet would be on the latter.

It's the new Ricoh Sell-Up Training for shop staff

Someone goes in buys a TC and the sales person says.....
"Would you like a lens and a body to go with that TC"

Joking aside, if the new software patches promised for Ricoh's expensive teleconverter works wouldn't we be better buying the much cheaper Kenko one?...

http://www.srsmicrosystems.co.uk/348/Kenko-Teleplus-DG-1-4X-MC-Teleconverter---P...

Mind you I don't have an F4 or better tele lens to use either on yet.

The Price I see at Ricoh is 379 same as SRS, maybe it was a typo?

If you check out the guidelines post for leads to Deals you'll see that expired deals are removed, in an attempt to keep the information as current as possible.

The price difference has ended, so this one was noticed quicker than some others. I do a sweep every now and then.
Best regards, John

I am not convinced it was a typo

However it is reassuring that they have sorted this out so quickly.

Oh great! thanks a bunch for flagging this up! I was going to buy one of these 30 quid cheaper and now it's just gone up. Brilliant. Way to go people, moan about something being too cheap...

Sorry I spoke .

Trust me, I'm disappointed to but shentser pointed it out yesterday (I think) and if I hadn't already pre-ordered one then I would have done so then. It must have been corrected this morning as it was still at 349 when I posted.

It was obviously a mistake, rather than an offer, so only time will tell if anybody actually managed to buy one, direct from Ricoh, at that price.

I doubt that it was any posts on here that made them change it, more likely through a dealer pointing it out to them.
