As mentioned on the other thread, just get a similar sized spring from broken bits and pieces, or maybe try a DIY shop.

I've successfully made this sort of spring using a retractable biro's spring, cut to length and the final turn at each end bent to the correct angle using small plies.

I am looking to buy a Pentax 16-85mm aperture arm return spring. Its tiny and mine broke but I,m looking to replace it myself as its easy. Can anyone recommend a parts retailer that could help out??
