Why are Pentax user allowing these 'in page' adverts?
I don't need to see these when I open a new page and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Surely there must be more suitable advertisers for these spaces?

I agree on this, there is a place for everthing, and penis ads on here is NOT one of them.

Huh? Where??!

Are you _sure_ these are from Pentax User and that you haven't been infected with virus/malware/adware etc?

If you want to show me what you are seeing, I can setup a remote control session of your PC (if you're on broadband) and probably identify the cause. Send me a PM if you want to do this...

Sounds like having Adblocker switched on on Firefox is a good thing!

Gwyn - yes I have AdBlocker, but I can't imagine the PU team actually wanting these adverts! Maybe something has been hacked...
EDIT: Just checked in IE - and there aren't any dodgy adverts on my IE
Will check it out.

Cheers Matt, seems that not all users are getting these ads, TTK seems to be and my daughter who is on a different system is getting them.
They seem to be coming from link but I can't confirm this.

I'm not seeing them either. Where are they displayed? As far as I can tell all the ones I see are either ephotozine ones (from their own server) or Google Ads.

I just disable Adblocker - but all I got were Dutch ads from Google. All actually relevant to Pentax too amazingly enough.
Adblocker is back on again now though.
I hope you get to the bottom of this - it sounds very odd and more than a tad distasteful.

Ken, I'm sorry but your misspelling "refelctors" in your sig is starting to get to me now . Could you correct it please?

Is there? Can't say I've ever noticed it. Although with this topic, I wouldn't be surprised if something rude pops up!

Hi there,

We certainly do not approve those type of adverts on here

If you see the advert again, it would be very helpful if you can email me a screengrab and the url it links to.
My email address is:

tracey (at) ephotozine (dot) com

Many thanks
Tracey
