As promissed in this topic: https://www.pentaxuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7774&highlight= , here are some panorama's that I stitched with Photoshop:

Calais harbour from the ferry to Dover:

Fuji S5 Pro + Sigma 17-70 (stitch of 3 photo's)

River between Beaulieu and Buckler's Hard:

Pentax ist D + 35mm Ltd (10 photo's)

Coast near Lyme Regis in Dorset:

Fuji S5 Pro + Sigma 17-70 (14 photo's (!) )

As you can see, I had also the opportunity to try out the Fuji FinePix S5 pro together with the Sigma 17-70 macro. This combination worked very well to me and the picture quality of the S5 is phenomenal. I Pentax would ever put a Fuji Super CCD in a updated ist D, I wouldn't hesitate (one can always dream.)

Thanks for watching; hope you like them...
Cheers! Marc

I love the SR sensors that FujiFilm make. We have an old S20Pro which was and is the only compact tu use a sensor with two photosensors per photosite to get an amazing dynamic range. It has an extra 4 stops of highlight information hidden in the RAW file, you can't possibly blow out the highlights with these sensors.

Here is an example:

I really like the lower two panoramas Although the sky is a bit washed out in the lower one, which is odd for an S5.

Beautiful shots i particularly like No2.

I often wonder how you fit so many people into such a small country and still have all that wide open space

Just a few hundred yards (as the crow flies) from photograph No. 2 is Fawley - a massive oil refinery
