We had a Mustang put on an air display as part of the local celebrations of the 70th anniversary of VE day. Impressive flying for a 70 year old!
These all taken with my Pentax K7 & Bigmos (Sigma 150-500):

My youngest 2 kids (ages 11 & 13) also had a try with my G5 & 55-200 and both managed some shots I'd have been very proud off just a couple of years ago. I can see I'll have serious competition if they take a more regular interest in photography!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Nice shots ..... You must have a really great camera! .... Oh yes, I see ... You DO!! The K7 is one of the best of course, and its good to see it really 'in action' with the action here. Frame filling and dynamic angles and you've got those propellers just right as well.

I also appreciate your fine balancing of the backgrounds and subject tones, especially the shadow control, which is so often an issue in such backlit conditions. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. I certainly took my fair share of rejects too - but the P51 is such a lovely plane some of them had to come out.
