I looked out my 1980's MX body and fitted the M42-to K mount adapter and tried some M42 lenses, using outdated 2005 'Tudor 100' ( FUJI) C41 which I processed myself. I had been given a little SMC-Takumar 35mm f3.5 lens which on first tests I thought was not very sharp but on THESE tests the Definition was good - I used 1/250 and 1/125 around f5.6 according to the light. The OTHER lens was my 'Test' TT ARTISAN 100mm f2.8 with 'Bubble BOKEH'

Interesting work and nice to view, keep it going. It amazes me how good the old film still performs. Like.

Yes, it is amazing - but a lot of this is due to Peter's lifelong experience and skill. I could send any number of potentially good images to a commercial processor and they will come back 'meh'. All kudos to you Peter - wonderful results, as always.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
