I had an outstanding day last Saturday with Carl (Fritzthedog) and John (JVS) so my thanks go to Carl for doing the organising.

Sorry if there seems to be too many images, but they sort of take you through the day from early morning to late evening.....As my legs will testify

As usual I would welcome any C&C

I like these very much, apart from #10 which I feel just looks very odd, you had great light and a really good sense of composition.
Best regards, John

Good to see you and John.

Glad you had a good day Barrie and hope your knee has now recovered.,

Nice time-line of the day - particularly like 7, 8, 11 and 12. 8 and 11 because you nailed these much better than I. 12 - I doubt you could tell my version from yours - so will avoid posting mine

10 does have an unusual feel but I actually like it.

Your turn next Barrie - show me your county and make me feel I have been run over

Will add some of mine soon

I like these - number 10 is odd but I like it
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Very nice set Barrie. No 10 does seem slightly out of place and may have presented better out of set.

Good work though and well photographed.

Best regards

It was good to meet you, Barrie - you clearly have more stamina than me to make through to the evening! But I wish I had stayed - your no. 11 is really nice, makes my daytime ones look quite ordinary. Well done!

Thanks for all your comments, it looks like back to the drawing board for #10. The original was really a silhouette and maybe I pushed it too far.

The deer are first class but the crypt scene at Fountains Abbey, #12, is outstanding Barrie.

Great set, number two is a classic pose.

Really impressed by 11 & 12 though.
