That looks a lot like the station on the way out Llangollen shot from the chainbridge 😀

Don't think they are cloned out but I could be wrong! Was looking in the window and the image is slightly not aligned between the two images.

Yeah but what is really impressive is the sign behind the man, "Booking Office" .... This is actually obscured by the man but in the version with the cloning it has been painstakingly reconstructed in superb detail!

What's in your coffee today, Nigel?

Antony, did you get a clear shot of the loco when it was further along (left) beyond the bridge railings?

Three separate shots! This topic only occurred to me later, otherwise I'd have taken the train in front of the building. I didn't want to obscure it!
Thanks for the interest, but can anyone produce another triple on this topic??

Don't some Panoramic programs do this more or less automatically? You highlight what you don't want and if there are 2 to 3 shots in the pano the program uses the background from the shots without the people.

PTGui which is about the best Pano program (IMHO) allows masking out objects and people. See .......
http://www.ptgui.com/examples/masktutorial.html

If the PTGui file is saved as a Photoshop PSD file with feathered layer masks it can be done in Photoshop.... See ...... ( 3/4 way down the page )
