Nikon and Canon suffer another blow

2011 will probably not be a year that Canon and Nikon look back at with fondness. Yesterday I read about Nikon factories in Thailand being submerged in water and Canon factories are apparently affected as well.

Today, I stumbled upon this gallery - from a Danish newspaper and not Canon/Nikon related but remarkable pictures anyway.

Some 8 months ago I was passing through that area on my humble bicycle and I got to know some people there rather well. Hope they are ok. Canon and Nikon shareholders will probably survive. As far as I know, the Thai king is actually a major shareholder of Canon and a avid photographer btw.
