For sale: New. Unopened. 40" 4K Ultra HD LCD display. Philips BDM4037UW (Amazon price £549). I was lucky enough to win it in a competition, but I've decided to 'convert' it to an alternative product, ie another lens or more sensibly, RAID storage.

It weighs 18kg and as I don't feel like organising courier transport, I guess it might only interest anyone near to me in Hampshire.

I'm looking for offers around £450. Anyone interested ?

Maybe could have said, this is professional, curved display, with ultra-wide colour gamut. The web page can be found: here

Bump. Is this what I need to do when I reset something like the price ?

Anyway. My price floor is £400 for this pro monitor. The rrp is around £670, so £400 for a brand new monitor shipped from Philips this week, seems fair. Guess I'll have to start searching outside of our community, if this interests nobody here.

OK it seems this is not wanted. Anyone care to let me know why, as it does seem to be a bargain for a brand new, pro-grade monitor to admire your lovely Pentax shots

I don't have the desk real estate for it, which is my problem. Guess I'm going to have to learn how to use ebay ...

Hi Barry - I suspect part of the reason will be the no delivery option - a lot of people wouldn't be prepared to travel too far unl;ess it was an absolute "must have" for them. Also this is a limited forum for this type of item, If you can give it a bit of time and spread the word a little further it'll go eventually

Yes, most people here don't live near Hampshire! A postcard in the local newsagent for sale ads might elicit a better response, and/or the local paper.
If you just want to get it out of the way with little hassle, what about Cash Converters or similar?

Maybe you're right. Maybe I'll offer to drive it to a buyer. Thinking on that ...

Seems you may be right as has been mention. Never thought of Cash Converters. I'll take a look.

Well done for winning the set. Was it a photo competition?
