Haven't got a PDF, but can answer your question.I used to have one.
The macro mode allows for 1:4 magnification with a minimum focusing distance of 25cm. It can be engaged at any focal length!
And.........it is tack sharp with a superb color rendering. Specially reds.

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

Try here for some information on the Lens, Site is blocke from the office so i can't see what is says.

Generally the Macro is at the long end, i.e. 105, of the zoom and allows for a close focus for close up work. On one of my similur lenses this allows for the focus ring to turn more, others have a pull focus function at the long end.

Try it on your camera, and set it on closest focus and then move into an object to see how close you are when it come into focus.

Hope this is of some use.

This is the manual you need. The password is "Pentax", no quotes, case sensitive (capital P).
