Smeggy, use Faststone viewer to open it and view. Its simple, fast and free

I'm uploading 3520-3528 in PEF (RAW) format as well this morning, as requested. (that's the crude ISO sequence)
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

I don't think you can convert to DNG with faststone. May be Irfanview can.
But you can convert to jpg with Faststone though.
