My first attempt at waterfalls

After working many Saturdays in a row, I needed to get out of the house and try something new, so I planned a small road trip to New Jersey. These were all taken with my trusty K-50 with the 18-55mm kit lens. As always please let me know what you think so that I can improve.

These are really lovely, Carol. They could have been taken in Yorkshire. Soft light and muted colours. My favourite is the second one.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Lovely set, with my favourite being number two. I'm assuming you have used some sort of filter on number one. Is that what has given the hue in the water?

Photoshop, it was originally yellowish, I thought the blue made it softer.

As far as composition, no2 is quite something I do like the IQ of the last one though.

You have a real talent for composition, these are excellent. A couple of them would benefit from lifting the shadows a little, but they are all really nice images.
