Won't be upset about C&C but I did believe that there would be the odd comment about the bikes themselves. XYZ, I remember it well, so are Pentax users all youngsters or is it a case of "why take the bike when the Jag has a radio, reclining seats and heater"?

I like these and have a soft spot for those 70's Honda's

I often find myself taking abstracts/ close ups with bikes and cars so it's nice to see the full items here
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Thanks for posting , my dad had rudge ulsters ,and his sister (now age 94) had a le velocette , when me and my twin brother were 13 in the early 70`s we had an old genuine bsa c15 trials bike we used to ride around the fields on , great memories.
regards, tim. (by the way i still ride a 1983 honda cx500 to and from work everyday come rain or shine , no jag in our house !)

Gary, about 40 years ago I had a bike just like the green ones in the background of photos 1 and 3, which I think are BSA Bantams. I started motoring and passed the test on a Honda 50, like the red+white one in photo 4. Progression (via a Suzuki 125, a Honda 125 trail bike, a Honda CD175 and a Suzuki 250 twin) led me to the little brother of the CB750 in photo 8, the Honda CB400 Four - a real gem. My last 28 years of biking were on the ultra-reliable CX500B V-twin, but my hip joints gave in and I sold it about 4 years ago.

I enjoy seeing all the old bikes and other old vehicles still running and looking pristine at the steam rallies, and you have a good record of them in this great set of photos.

Thanks for these Gary, I was trained to ride on an LE by my father and soon learned that a tiger cub was the better option.
C&C welcome.
Don.
