I've had too many doctors/hospital appointments of late to get out and do some 'stuff' using the new 55-300mm PLM lens. However, a little earlier this morning I managed to get out and do a bit. There should follow a few shots which are pretty decent, allowing for my standard of photography. They have been cropped and edited minimally with Elements 13.

As always you are all free to pass judgement, good or not. Hee! Hee!

You've captured the action of a bird in flight really well, very graceful indeed. Only thing I'd say is that you can tell you were quite some distance from your subject, despite the zoom lens. If that's true, though, you've done well considering!

The third one is my favourite as its sharper but also caught from a more unusual angle.

Out of interest...how do you find this new lens compared to what you were using before?

Thanks guys. Karlo, it is like night and day. The PLM lens is much faster to focus and is a lot more fun than hunting around with the old lens. In my humble opinion, it is well worth buying.
