it's the lens I used to take most of the product shots... it's awesome, really fast, and really sharp. A joy on a tripod with Live View.

It's a decent price, too...

Macro and 540 Flash sold and paid.

I will pack them, share the pics of the boxes and packaging and then attempt to get them to the posti Saturday, though it might be Monday. You'll get a tracking number just as soon as I have one.

thanks, good to hear it arrived. Enjoy!

The rest of the gear that was unsold is now on its way to SRS for partex against a G9, so withdrawn from sale, except the K01 and K5. Make me an offer if you're interested!

K-01s do have a mode dial. See page 18.

They're basically a K-5 without the mirror assembly.

The OP said the mode button was missing, no mention of dial.

If you look at the photos, it is clear that what is missing is the disk from the top of the mode dial, which has the modes marked on it. I'm sure that the OP can confirm that this does not affect the operation of the dial - ie it will still click round changing the modes. I assume that the current mode is displayed on the screen, although I've never operated a K-01. Suggest a pm to the OP.

Hi,

apologies, I've been stupidly busy with work - event coming up - so I've not been here as much as I might have been.
The mode button cover itself is missing. The dial itself continues to function and yes, the mode is shown on the rear. The brick makes for a very nice pocketable combo with a 28/3.5.

You can actually find the part to fix it back on again - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pentax-K-01-Digital-SLR-Mode-Dial-Replacement-Repair-Pa... is an example - but that price is a bit nuts for a camera of this age and stature.

I'm looking at 10 for postage, I'll cover the rest. Let me know if you're interested, please, and apologies for the delay in responding.

Hello Bret, I don't know whether your K-01 has been claimed yet (and I haven't yet convinced myself a back-up K-01 is my best course of action regarding my much-used unit), but the number of shutter actuations could give a buyer a good idea of how much it has been used. Who knows, It might even push me over the edge of indecisevness...

edit: and yes, it is really great with an M28 3.5 glued on!
