looking forward

seeing that every one is looking back at 2016
i was wondering what you are looking forward to or hoping for in 2017
i am hoping to do a few mor air shows and i think do some more high spead stuff like the drag racing

I shall continue photographing the things I like best, street photography, steam trains, people getting dressed up in fantastic costumes such as at the Whitby Goths, the Edinburgh Fringe performers and the occasional Scottish or Welsh mountain landscape. It would also be nice to come back home with a beautiful landscape from The English Lake District, something I've never managed although The Lakes are les than a couple hours drive from where I live and everyone else seems capture that area so well.
The journalist in me would love to get a world photo scoop, perhaps a spaceship landing in a remote area of Northumberland when no one but me was anywhere nearby.

Something recently prompted me to get the Spotmatic out (and it all still works) so I shall be looking forward to the anticipation of getting one's processed film back once again. It is surprising how much you have to think about what you are doing with it so the first bit of 2017 will be a retro learning curve for me.
