Hi guys and gals,

Been meaning to get my website finished off as it's been a long time coming. I have to make a new sub tab for the tutorials, both YouTube screen recordings and how the actual in person 1:1 / group tutorials work and their costs and the about me tab needs something in their on my brand of choice (naturally :wink so it's not totally finished yet but I was wondering if people could run their eyes over it for me and give me some feedback if something doesn't look right or if something could work better?

Thanks

Hi Gareth,

Nice clean design, works well in Chrome on my 24 inch Windows PC and my 8 inch tablet portrait and landscape.

Good sizing with minimal scrolling. I'd personally increase the margins left and right to text within boxes and perhaps try justified rather than ragged text.

For helping search engines I would repeat menu titles in small hyperlinked plain text at foot of home page. I'd add roll over text to header for same reason.

Well done.

Thanks Bill, appreciate the feedback

^^ Done

Made it with Moonfruit and they don't allow justifying the text away from the edges of the text boxes.

It's rubbish!!!!!!
There's no pictures of naked ladies

Seriously though, I can't find any problems with it.
It loads fast enough, easy to navigate, no annoying intros or music.
I think you hit the nail on the head.

One niggle: the overall display was a bit small on my screen, (24 inch monitor set at 1920x1080) seemed much better if I zoomed in to 125%

Hi, excellent. Not heard of Moonfruit but it seems to do a good job. I have used Serif Webplus for many years. I'm not a programmer but have fun with sites I do including my family one link. A photographer friends site with same software and wordpress blog embedded link

Mine isn't automatically scalable either, as tailor made BBC and Guardian sites for example now are. I also generally use 1000 pixels wide as mobiles scale down and, as Alan says, you can zoom on a big monitor if you want full browser width.
Very hard to please everyone, so well done again!

Thanks both! Note to self, shoot naked ladies How do I get them under the wife radar?!!

The original website was set to 920px so I upped it to 1000px wide but it didn't make a difference so I upped it to 1200px and now it's wider. Wider better?!

It looks great (still) on my 24 inch 1920 x 1200 monitor and still works fine on my 8 inch tablet but thats 2048 x 1536 so not a helpful test. You need someone using lower res screens than 1200 wide to say if they have to scroll left right or zoom out.

On a mobile (iPhone 6) it cuts your front screen slideshow photos in half, losing the right hand side.
