Longstock Park Water Gardens

Owned by the John Lewis Partnership along with Leckford Abbas and much of the Leckford Estate. Longstock Park Water Gardens is small but beautifully tended. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place with a good variety of flora and fauna - there are many beautiful views of the waters but I find the detail easier to translate into images. It was quite a bright morning so many of the images are more contrasty than my usual "style". Hope you enjoy...

Lovely, John - right up my street, as you can probably imagine! Beautiful range of colours and enhanced by the out of focus backgrounds.

What a wonderful place you have discovered and what good use you have put it to. The massed foxgloves are gorgeous but those reflections are something again.
And I love the caterpillar!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Wonderful photos - several of the flower shots seem almost to be in 3D!
