Wow - not a single comment

Anyhow - some from the road run to Conwy all with the K5 Sigma 50mm macro except flickr list it as a Pentax F lens

Fraid you have to be giving away a free grip to be noticed round here!

I really like the old vans and tractors especially the Ray Herritts one...
Who would have thought of using red and brown for the colour scheme

A grip of what

Thanks Algi

I was chatting with a relative of one of the drivers (and family) of the Ray Herrit ones - he mentioned that they have an 80 year fella working one day a week (I think) just painting them - they are quite a few and all are very impressive indeed.

The 28mm F3.5 seems to have done well here Stuey, the shots taken with that one look good.

I also like the Road Run images, especially the 'Lyons Tea' one.

I like the close detail shots, perfectly selected and composed. Of the parade pictures my favourite's got to be the woman in trendy shades driving the vintage shocking pink Fergie.

I know the feeling, Stu.

These are of one of the subjects that I enjoy and I like your photos, particularly the close in shots.

Cheers.

Thanks David - I cannot claim perfect composition as some are cropped

I had to come clean on that so to speak

I have to say that the 28mm f3.5 shots were the ones I enjoyed the most and the detail from that lens is staggering - lack of fringing also very impressive - I suspect David S that you already have experience of this though anyone who has no experience of this lens should - at least in my opinion

Thanks again all you for the comments and feedback

And as for that tractor it just had to be included - the pink blob appearing through the failing light and gloom was something to draw everyone attention

The first set is great. The silver Jaguar (number five) is my favourite shot. What a stunning car!

Yes, that old Vauxhall is amazing, and I love that green Bedford farm truck as well. Looks like a very vibrant event in a great location as well. Thanks for showing them!

Very nice Stuey. Prefer the first set. Impct of the 2nd set is reduced somewhat, due to them mostly being from the same viewpoint and the distraction of the castle. The last one of the coach is a good un

Thanks guys

I have to admit alan that the inclusion of the castle as a back drop was deliberate, if not the best choice.

Thanks for the comments
