I am considering purchasing a Limited series lens - the 31mm F1.8. Has anyone used this lens?

I haven't used the lens but was toying to buy it too.

Pentax seem to have locked themselves into a strange fashion of chosing bizarre focal lengths and 31mm, 43mm, and 77mm which contrast from the more traditional 28mm, 50mm and 85mm.

I have the 43mm, and Pentax lost a sale from me because I couldn't justify the small 12mm gap increment between 31mm and 43mm. The traditional 28mm to 50mm is a 22mm differential. Maybe Pentax is working on a 24mm Ltd edition?

By the way... where do I find a silver 49mm UV/skylight filter from ??? ??? ?

Have you tried the Pentax Digest? A group of like-minded folks worldwide. http://pdml.net

I have used the FA 31/1.8 and it is a very sharp lens.

I was able to use my Pentax reps demo model for a
while and shot a couple of rolls of film and, again, was
very happy with the results.

Sorry to be so late but i just joined :0

I am afraid this silver UV filter in only available in Japan.
Pentax silver UV, for limited series.
I have 43 and 77, but I only got 2 B+W filters,
they looked ok as I install them into my limited lenses.
