It is pretty easy especially if you aren't cack-handed like me. Biggest job is getting the sticky goo out of the channels around the door in the first place. It takes me ages and a lot of cocktail sticks.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

thanks wobble, i have already started the goo removal and your correct it takes time. the pressing in of the new light seals is what i should have referred too , as in is do the new light seals have an adhesive side making it tricky as the channels have dept

Getting the new ones in wasn't too bad. The channel is quite tight but use a blunt object to push the new seal in. Some people use a type of yarn which also works very well and stays in by friction.

FFS! I'm not having much luck with the Program A! Sorted out the light leaks and it's still not right! I think the shutter is playing up now looking at these new negs with fresh film!
Cut my loses and get another film body?!

Gareth, I think that is a light leak as it runs right accross the emulsion. A shutter issue would only show on the exposed part of the negative.
