Lenses for sale

I have a few lenses for sale, I am not using them and I hope they can find a better home.

I took them with me today to my trusted camera service shop (I took my Spotmatic for a CLA) and I had them checked one by one, just to be on the safe side before posting them here. They all got a clean bill of health and the specialist reassured me that where dust is present, it does not have any impact whatsoever on performance. His conclusion was that they are all in perfect shape.

All prices below include shipment to UK/EU, payment by bank transfer or Paypal gift (buyer paying fees).

So, here we go:

Pentax m 75-150 4 + hard box: this lens is in very good condition, some dust due to age, but see above. I noticed a couple of tini signs on the front lens, but according to the service specialist they are insignificant. This was originally bought by my father for his MX and was very well kept. I have taken the decision to use only primes with the MX, so this does not get used. But it is a very good lens in all respects, with a very good reputation. Both caps included. Price £55 including postage to UK/EU.

Pentax fa 100-300 4.5-5.6 power zoom: Lens in very good condition, some dust, originally bought with a Z1 camera and now not in use as I have a DA 55-300. This lens allows both manual and powerzoom, which is very fast. Both caps incuded.
Price £70 including postage to UK/EU

Tamron AF 28-105 4-5.6: I bought this lens with a film camera a few years back, but not really used it. Very good conditions, some dust, includes both caps and hood. Price £55 including postage to UK/EU

No interest in these lenses or did I get the price really wrong?

Good DA 55-200s can now be had for £55, so your 75-150 certainly seems overpriced.

I would be interested in the 100-300, if only because I have never used a powerzoom, but not at the moment. £70 seems a reasionable starting point for negotiation.

The Tamron is just a bit ordinary.

Thanks Davex for your comments!

I am not an experienced seller, so I welcome comments and offers, I am looking for a good home especially for the 2 Pentax lenses!

Put them on Ebay, mate. Once the Americans get a sniff of them, the price may well go through the roof. My advice is to start the bidding for the least amount you'd be happy with. Start with 50 quid on each and see where it goes from there. You might not see any bidding action until the last 2 minutes of the auction, however.
