There is no answer to that question. Bokeh is entirely subjective. What's good for one person is awful to another.

It also depends on the shot. It is a subjective as which ice cream tastes better

I know I was amazed by Revuenon 55/1.2 wide open.

I like the Bokeh of my Pentax 100mm - but as this is also a macro lense it might not be what you were looking for. However, when using it as a 100mm for non-macro shots it has really nice round bokeh.

I thought of that first shot Tim when I saw this thread.

Not the best bokeh but possibly the best value bokeh (still can be found for a tenner) for the ever-so-'umble M50mmf1.7 ?

For BOKEH have to say the A35-105 again, knocks all my modern lenses off the block, (including the DFA100)

I'm quite chuffed with the bokeh from my new SMC K 135 f2.5

Where would you pick that up for less than a tenner? It's on for mostly £30 on ebay.

You need to be a bit lucky.
It's also a kit lens and it might be sold together with a camera sometimes.

I want Pentax K50mm 1.2 ...

What's the full description? Does it need an adaptor. I'm presuming it's MF only

That's a k mount lens, will fit on your DSLR without an adaptor but it has no auto aperture so you need to use the camera in manual mode as well.

There is an A 50/1.2 and that one has the auto aperture but still manual focus.

Here are all the k-mount lenses with full discription.

When it's sold separately, but you can find them with a film camera, often badly described. I've found several lenses that way and ended up with a drawful of ME's etc.

Oops deleted my question by mistake

My question was the diff between M, A and K lenses with relevance for use on a K5
