Thanks, will take a look.
How has the polycarbonate stood up over time on your older cameras?

Why not use a phone film protector cut to size?

smc: Fine, the protectors have been on my K10 and K20 for about 6 and 5 years. They show little sign of wear and have not lifted although the blurb says they can be removed. (They are only adhere around their silver edge trim).
RobL: Never very keen on film. Although much cheaper and less visually obvious, getting rid of trapped air bubbles can be a right pain.

I bought this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01L1E8S6Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=...
Fitted first time with no bubbles, very happy with it.

For my first three dslrs I used ACMAXX protectors as these were made to fit Pentax - even down to the shaped protector for the top screen. They were made out of hard polycarbonate, not sticky film or 'toughened' glass.
The only firm that stocked them as far as I know was 'Just' (.co.uk), and then they didn't...so if you are interested:
Search ebay for ' ACMAXX 3" Hard LCD Screen Armor Protector Pentax K5-ll K-5-2s KSll Mark 2 K5lls' (that's how it's written!)
Seller: onlinefred62
Cost including standard US postage: £14.13 approx.
The supplier was: Chi Hsing Chen (K5-ll/S), 626 Grayson Way, Milpitas, CA 95035, USA
Manufacturer: ACMAXX (!). www.acmaxx.net
I ordered them 31st January, they arrived today - not bad. So that's my last K5 and my K5ll fixed up.
